Job Description

As a 2D Concept Artist, you will work with the Art Director and Creative Leadership to shape the visual style of mobile games. You’ll use your skills in storytelling and design to conceptualize characters, environments, and marketing assets while maintaining a consistent art direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director and Art Lead to define and execute the artistic vision of the game.
  • Create designs for characters, creatures, props, and environments to enhance gameplay and player experience.
  • Research and gather references to support creative decisions.
  • Evangelize the game’s visual style and communicate it effectively with team members.
  • Collaborate with 3D artists to resolve design challenges during production.

Qualifications

  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • 2+ years of concept art experience.
  • Understanding of anatomy, proportion, and perspective.
  • Willingness to accept feedback and refine artwork.
  • Knowledge of game art and animation pipelines is a plus.
  • General understanding of the 3D production process is an advantage.
