Experienced Acoustical Ceiling Installer

Cincinnati, OH

DeGeorge Ceilings and Flooring is currently searching for a full-time Experienced Acoustical Ceiling Installer to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio!

We were established in 1964 offering ceiling and flooring products and installation services in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience installing acoustical ceilings, including hanging wires, installing grid straight and level, cutting ceiling tiles, vents and lights
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to maintain good quality and be productive
• Knowledge of different ceiling products
• Experience with cutting all types of ceiling tile
• Experience with seismic clips, clouds and canopies is a plus
• Must be able to work on stilts and/or on a lift system

Responsibilities:

• Lay out and hang ceiling grid
• Install grid systems square and level
• Install and cut ceiling tile
• Keep up with job flow and schedule
• Knowledge of specs and codes
