Pay Rate: $20 – $22 per hour
Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Anesthesia Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in New York, NY. This is a night shift position in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain appropriate levels of medications and supplies in anesthesia machines, carts, and cabinets.
Restock drugs and supplies according to departmental protocols.
Receive, verify, and store pharmaceutical and medical supply deliveries.
Clean, organize, and maintain anesthesia workrooms and storage areas.
Monitor and document refrigeration temperatures.
Inspect and remove expired medications/supplies and coordinate prompt replacements with the Pharmacy.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified Anesthesia Technician (required)
Previous experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
