Job Description

We are a private café located in the Fulton Market area seeking a reliable and personable Part-Time Bartender to join our team Tuesday–Thursday .

Schedule:

1. Part-time
2. Tuesday–Thursday
3. Daytime/early evening shifts (hours may vary based on events and service needs)

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve beer, wine, and specialty cocktails according to café standards
2. Provide excellent customer service in a professional, welcoming environment
3. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
4. Follow all food safety and alcohol service regulations
5. Handle POS transactions accurately
6. Assist with private events and activations as needed
7. Communicate effectively with café staff and management

Qualifications:

1. Previous bartending experience preferred
2. Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine
3. Valid Food Handler’s Certificate
4. Valid Chicago Liquor License (BASSET certification)
5. Strong communication and customer service skills
6. Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
7. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
