Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day culinary operations alongside the Executive Chef
Serve as the culinary department head in the Executive Chef’s absence
Assist with menu development, ordering, inventory, and food cost controls
Maintain the highest standards for food safety, sanitation, and quality (HACCP)
Train, coach, and manage a team of culinary professionals
Execute large-scale catering and café production with a focus on quality and efficiency
Qualifications
~ Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts preferred, or equivalent experience will be considered
~5+ years of kitchen leadership experience in high-volume or upscale environments
~ Strong background in catering, banquets, and international cuisines
~ Deep knowledge of food trends, cost controls, and presentation standards
~ ServSafe Certification required
~ Passionate about food, hospitality, and team development
