Job Description

Position: Civil Engineer / Civil Designer

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer/Civil Designer to join our team. We provides site development civil engineering services primarily focused on smaller (1-2 acre) commercial development projects. Typical plan sets produced include grading, drainage, and utility plans, wall plans and profiles, street improvement plans, hydrology studies, and NPDES water quality studies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide engineering design for civil engineering plans.
• Prepare Grading, Drainage and Utility Design for entitlement level and permit level plan sets that can be drafted by current team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering site development design.
• Highly proficient and efficient at site development engineering design.
• Experience with site layout, grading, drainage and utility design for small commercial projects.
• General knowledge of AutoCAD in a civil engineering/ site development setting.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate efficiently with design team, client, and agencies.
