Job Description

We provide dental services using  state of the art technology  and exceptional lifetime care for our patients, and want to hire team members who want to grow, work in a satisfying environment and foster a strong team building culture. 

As a  Business Assistant ( Receptionist ) at the Reception Are , you are the first person that our patients see when they walk in and have one of the most ( if not the most ) important positions in a dental office. You will work in an environment that encourages learning, team cohesion, and puts patients first

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of experience  working in a dental office / same position
• Spanish Speaking
• Saturday availability (Some Saturdays)
• Available to stay until 6:45 pm if needed sometimes during the week & on Sat if working, until 3:30 pm 
• Available to start at 8:20am ( We open at 9:00 am)

We Prefer:

• Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend
• Cross Trained / some knowledge of the Clinical side.

More about the role:

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, as well as sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education to patients
• Knowledge of Account Ledger
• Insurance Breakdown
• Answering phone calls 
• Scheduling appointments
• Creating and Presenting treatment plans
• Checkout patients
• Charge patients for services
• Create claims
• Send claims
• Send Pre Authorizations
• Utilize Dentrix Ascend for patient scheduling and record keeping
• Adherence to HIPAA protocols
• Other duties associated with Business Assistants & Receptionists at a dental office.
• Partner with the providers and team to implement our systems and maximize office workflow
