**Description** SAIC is looking for a **Logistics Support Specialist** to plan, develop and implement programs to coordinate physical distribution, order fulfillment, inventory management and control, and contract management activities. **This position is an ONSITE role located in San Diego, CA. Must be local to area.** **JOB DUTIES:** + Receives, inventories, and stores incoming material/equipment delivered to customer receiving department. + Inspects incoming material for conformity to packing slips/purchase orders. + Reports discrepancies/damages to appropriate authority. + Assists in maintaining a well-organized database of packing slips, invoices, DD-1149s, and work orders. + Assist with manages accuracy and organization of physical warehouse inventory both in person and through US Navy customer web based databases. + Regularly assist with inventory reconciliations & audits. + Responsible for maintaining warehouse workspace and storage locations in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. + Prepares shipments of outgoing material based off detailed work order instruction. Boxes, wraps, packs, and otherwise prepares packages and pallets of goods for shipping. + Assists in the delivery/distribution of incoming material to computer lab. **Qualifications** **REQUIREMENTS** : + High School and two (2) years or more related experience. + Must be a U.S. Citizen. + Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance after start. + Forklift Experience / Ability to obtain Forklift License. Operates forklift, pallet jack, utility cart, and various warehouse tools and equipment. + Ability to lift 50+ LBS. repeatedly. **DESIRED SKILLS:** + Organizational skills preferred. + Ability to work in a team environment. Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
