Summary :
A leading manufacturer of driving technology is seeking experienced candidates for their direct-hire Mechanical Assembler position. The primary responsibility of this position is assembling gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components per work order. Full benefits are offered!

Pay : $21.32 per hour
Hours : 1st shift M-F, 6:00 am -2:30 pm
OT Available

Responsibilities :

• Assemble gearboxes to work order instructions
• Check work orders for accuracy
• Visually check parts for quality
• Test units for audible noises
• Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems
• Work related to maintaining the 5S program and Kanban system
• Be an active participant in the company’s suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent required
• Previous assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read and write
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. and stand and move around for 10 to 12 hours per day
• Must have reliable transportation to Waunakee
