At GT.School, you will guide K-2 students through multiple years of reading advancement in compressed timelines, leveraging adaptive technology, enthusiastic coaching, and a non-traditional curriculum model at one of the world's most forward-thinking schools.
This is a coaching position, not a conventional classroom role. You will help gifted children achieve 5-10x acceleration through adaptive platforms and motivational support rather than standard lesson planning or behavior management. What You Will Be Doing
• Create and facilitate compelling, individualized phonics-centered reading instruction for small groups of gifted K-2 students
• Apply storytelling techniques and interactive methods to achieve learning acceleration 5-10x above conventional standards
• Monitor student advancement and modify instruction dynamically to address each cohort's specific requirements
• Provide individual and small group mentoring to produce quantifiable gains in adaptive reading and writing applications

Basic Requirements
Reading Tutor key responsibilities
• Able to work on-site at GT.School in Georgetown, TX (relocation assistance available)
• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in structured literacy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years providing small-group reading interventions to K-2 learners
• Background working with gifted or high-achieving students in specialized settings
• Skilled with AI/adaptive learning platforms and student performance analytics
• Strong instructional presence with capacity to captivate young students through vocal delivery, storytelling, and enthusiasm
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
