ZED offers a wide array of general education and special education services to our member districts (please refer to for details). ZED has been in existence for over 30 years and is located in Kasson (MN) which is 16 miles away from the city of Rochester (MN).
Job Summary: Serve students identified as E/BD or ASD and in need of setting 4 special education services. School Social Worker will deliver individual and group counseling services as identified within each student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP). Indirect services might include case management, liaison to community social and correction services and mental health agencies, as well as interaction with students’ families and school. Develop, deliver and support the delivery of the behavioral and social skill curriculum as designed by the Futures/Choice multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications: Valid license (or able to attain) School Social Worker in the State of Minnesota. Demonstrated experience with children with E/BD or severe emotional disturbance in a setting that included special education services. Demonstrated experience in individual and group counseling services for E/BD.
