Seasonal Warehouse Associate - Pallet Builder
Pay: $20.50 an hour
Job Type: Seasonal Full Time Hours
Shift Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, weekends as needed, overtime.
Available Shift Details
5:30am-2:00pm Monday-Friday. Overtime hours and extra days required during peak periods.

About the Role
We have a terrific opportunity at our logistics & fulfillment center for a pallet build associate. You will build pallets for store shipment by separating cartons by store and product type, scanning the cartons, manually shrink-wrapping pallets, and utilizing a pallet jack to pull and stage completed pallets adhering to established production standards and guidelines. You will be cross trained in other facility departments to support operational and business needs.

Job Duties:

• Physically separate and place cartons / totes on pallets by store number and product type. Build pallet to proper height standards.
• Scan each carton or tote with a handheld RF scanner and place on appropriate pallet.
• Place jewelry cartons in a plastic tote by store number for secure transportation.
• Manually shrink wrap pallets for Initial movement.
• Utilize pallet jack to move and stage pallets as needed.
• Promote a safe work environment by adhering to company and OSHA safety rules and procedures and reporting any unsafe behaviors or unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
• Achieve established productivity and accuracy standards.
• Maintain regular attendance and show up on time to work adhering to company dress code policy.
• Maintain schedule flexibility to work overtime hours and extra days (Saturday / Sunday) as needed based on customer volume.

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Proficiency In English sufficient to understand training, rules, and necessary operational and safety instructions both verbally and in writing.
• Understanding of basic arithmetic and familiarity with RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift and stack cartons above shoulder height on a regular basis.
• Ability to frequently lift packages weighing 0-30 lbs. and occasionally 30-50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift period. Note: this portion of the facility Is not air conditioned.
• Ability to work effectively both as an individual and with others in a team environment.
• Ability to successfully complete cross training in at least 1 other department.
