FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Range of Pay : $22-24.75 per hour.
Located in Buffalo, NY 35 Hours Full Time
Summary Of Duties The Senior Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist will actively and proactively recruit, identify, and screen quality talent for the agency's hiring needs. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will positively promote our agency, programs, benefits, and positions to ensure all candidates understand why BestSelf Behavioral Health is such a great place to work. The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with all assigned hiring managers to keep an accurate report of current vacancies in order to hire and maintain sufficient levels of staffing. In addition, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will attend career events and serve as the back-up to the Talent Acquisition Specialist & Talent Acquisition Manager as needed.
Responsibilities - Effectively and proactively recruit talent through multiple sourcing opportunities that include attending job fairs, monitoring online sources, and developing advertisement in partnership with the marketing team.
- Works with all hiring managers to acquire top level talent.
- Identify, screen, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
- Present offers and communicate clearly the next steps in the process for all new hires & internal transfers.
- Maintain clear communication on next steps and requirements with all new hires & hiring managers.
- Build and maintain relationships with Colleges/Universities and other typical sources of Recruiting.
- Manage the internal career spotlight process in collaboration with the Marketing team.
- Assists all hiring managers to ensure all open positions are posted and filled within a timely manner.
- Works in collaboration with Senior Management teams to ensure the correct amount of open positions is reflected in their organization chart.
- Develop recruiting ideas and strategize with the Marketing team to increase candidate flow.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers regarding the status of their openings.
- Supports the Talent Acquisition Specialist in the onboarding process as requested by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Represent the agency at hiring events as requested by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Promote agency's Racial, Equity, and Inclusion concepts.
- Completes all trainings required by the agency.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree and at least 2-3 years of recruiting experience
- Efficiency working with common office technology/software including the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Must have experience using basic office technology including the full Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), copiers, faxes, scanners, phones.
- Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and stakeholders of the agency.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders in the agency.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledgeable of agency's programs and services.
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast paced environment.
- Reliable transportation with ability to travel between sites & to external events as needed.
