THIS IS LIKELY A 10-20 HOUR PER WEEK POSITION
We are seeking a reliable Virtual Assistant/Legal Assistant to support a personal injury law practice with administrative, organizational, and data-focused tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-competent, and able to manage workflows with minimal supervision. This is a remote - and VERY FLEXIBLE - position.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
• Enter case data, notes, and documents into the firm’s case management system
• Manage and update calendars, deadlines, and appointments
• Organize digital files and maintain clean document structure
• Assist with intake coordination and follow-up communications
• Prepare basic correspondence and template documents for attorney review
• Track medical record requests, insurance claim numbers, and related case data
• Upload, rename, and categorize PDFs and other evidence
• Monitor email inbox for time-sensitive items and flag for attorney review
• Assist with settlement packet assembly and lien tracking (training provided)
• Perform basic online research as needed (court sites, providers, etc.)
**Qualifications:**
• Prior law firm or legal admin experience preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Comfort with cloud-based software and case management platforms
• Ability to follow systems and procedures with consistency
• High degree of confidentiality and professionalism
• Reliable internet and quiet workspace
**Tools / Software (Experience Helpful):**
• Case management software (Filevine, Clio, etc.)
• Microsoft Office
• Adobe Acrobat / PDF management tools
• Email + calendar applications (Gmail/Outlook)
