We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Installer to join our construction team. We have two 52 unit apartment buildings scheduled to begin March 1st, 2026. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing wallboards to ceilings and walls of buildings, preparing surfaces, and ensuring a smooth finish. This role requires precision, physical stamina, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
· Measure and mark cutting lines on drywall sheets.
· Cut drywall to the right size using hand and power tools.
· Fasten drywall panels to the inside framework of buildings using nails, screws, or adhesives.
· Prepare surfaces for drywall application by taping, mudding, and sanding joints and holes.
· Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
· Inspect drywall installations for quality and adherence to building codes.
· Work with other construction professionals such as electricians and plumbers to ensure proper placement.
· Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
· Follow safety procedures and wear protective gear as required.
